These guys were done a little while ago, back when I still painted full black base then painted the details over. They scale up nicely with the Zvezda Persians, and are less flat then them.
Once again these are not historically accurate.

It can get a little tricky coming up with designs and patterns that work, which is why some of their colours are sub-par, but I always like a challenge!
I have many more both painted and unpainted, somexpect to see more of these guys in the future.

DeleteYou are right, I am no longer using a black undercoat for my figures (except armor and the such), but am instead using a wash like my WW2 stuff. I just forgot to mention these figures were painted back in February.
