Hat/Coates & Shine 1/72 "Indian" War Elephants

It's been a while since my last post, but I decided that since I have a little extra time today I might as well post some of my work on here. Here are my "Indian" elephants, though I will be using them as elephants enlisted within my Persian/Arab army. I gave them a mixture of Persian and Indian designs on their carpets.

Hat  (Coates & Shine?) really did a good job on these guys, with just a quick layer of grey, followed by a wash of dark brown and some dusting while dry and their ready to go. The blankets on them were perfect for putting some effort and trying some new things.

Hat seem to have a little lottery going on at their factory, and every buy is a gamble. Sometimes you get less than advertised (such as the Russian tank riders I picked up a while ago), and sometimes you win, like how I got three elephants instead of two in this set. Thanks Hat!

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed them, and as can be seen, they are definitely not done, seeing as only 3 of the 9 riders are ready to go. I am planning on getting another box of them, and adding a little tower to one of those new ones, giving me four ordinary elephants and a command one (unless Hat decides to give me another extra one!)

I hope your week has been good, and that your weekend is fantastic!
Have a good evening,
FF
