PSC Panzer IV UPDATE

I've already posted one of my Panzer IV's a few posts ago, but I found that the green stripes looked a little bare. So I added some Brown ones to add a little more depth to it (I still find it looks like a big mess).

The second Pz IV was sprayed with Tamiya ''Light Sand'' spray, and then I painted the scheme with a brush. Gave it a dark brown (oily looking) pin wash, and some Tamiya Powders and Mud.

I like the schem on the second one a lot better, but there's nothing I can do now. All I need is for PSC to release there set of 3x Panthers and I will have my German tank platoon.

Thanks for reading!

  3. Oh, I guess I should have mentioned the huge pile of 20mm figures! The reason I don't post any photos of them is because I haven't found an effective way of photographing figures. I guess if I keep on trying, I'll learn it soon enough.

And about starting a blog, I find it can be a bit of a challenge to squeeze in some time for taking the pictures, uploading them and then writting the post (as you can see, I can get carried away with the explaining). But if you don't mind spending an hour every night, it`s worth it. Although it does really pay off whenever you see your site meter go up.

    Thank you!

    1. Sorry for not seeing your comment. I may try and find some ''Iron Crosses'' in my stash, but besides that I will not be putting Squadron\Division details on them yet, as I will be trying to get the most use out of them. I'm trying to think of a division that would be suitable for Normandy and the eastern front.

      Anyway, Thank You!

    2. Iron crosses and a number or two really give some life to a model. I try and stay away from tac and div symbols as well.

Great work and keep it up.
