Good afternoon everyone,
Here's my lightly modded Bedford QLD and QLT from the Airfix set I got a couple months ago. Excellent quality plastic and details. Very easy to build, if a high number of pieces doesn't scare you. Good price too, at 15$ for two detailed trucks. I will need to buy another set later to complete my armies.
I needed transport for both my 8th army and NWEuropean british army, yet didn't want to buys four of this kit for each to have two. Which is why I was relieved to hear that the QLT was never used in the desert. So now I am splitting them into both campaigns.
Here's my QLD converted to carry men for the 8th Army. (The Bren was initially from an old Airfix 8th army figure.)
I made the benches out of Popsicle sticks.
I still haven't weathered it since I haven't decided what Decals to put on it.
Here's my QLT now, on the one side that has the cammo finished, and the Bren needs to be added:
And this is where the Hat British Tank Riders would have sit, if they were still in production.
Up next is my Italian Artillery from Hat.
Comments and criticisms are welcome!
Thank you for reading!

Italeri Cannone da 149/40 with crew
Well, here I am.
Sorry for not posting, been working extra shifts, along with frequently visiting Ottawa Bluesfest and Arriving home around 1am. I also had to put my sweet old dog down, which wasn't easy for me at all.
On a better note, I have my Russians on their way, and have just yesterday received a surprising package from an incredibly generous reader. I'll be honest, I was worried when I opened it, since their are some scary people on the internet, and giving your address to them may not be the best thing to do, but this one turned out not to be one of those, and instead the most generous person I've ever met. They were very humble about even adding multiple extra little goodies, such as
-3x Complete Revell Crew (7 figures) from the German Artillery Set
-3x copies of the Officer figure from the Pegasus German Mortar Set,
-3x Der Fuhrer patting two Hitler Jugend on the head from the Pegasus Set (Vignette)
-A 30$ book from Osprey on the Desert Rats!
Thank you so much Lilith, now I have to send you something!
Anyways, here is my Italian Heavy Artillery I got a couple months ago but only painted last week:
Excellent Model. Not as big and detailed as the Revell Gun, but Faster to build and stronger.
The crew were excellent figures, some of Italeri's finest sculpts (Except for the Office with the megaphone). I hope the rumors about them making a set of Italians for North Africa are true, because I would love to see more of this!
The crew will be based, once I figure out an appropriate way of doing so.
Now, what to post next?
- Italeri Flak 88
-PSC M4A1 Shermans
-Airfix Bedford QLD/QLT
-More Italian Artillery! (Hat)

Zimmerit fit for a King?
King Tiger that is.
I recently refurbished a hideous King Tiger II painted a couple years ago, and decided to try something new. I thought I'd add some Zimmerit paste to it.
I found quite a few tutorials, and stuck with the one that uses PlayDough. One embarassing trip to the dollar store later, and I started my experiment.
*Here's the Article (sorry it's in French, but those of you who cannot speak it just put it through Google translate): http://www.military-kits.com/sections.php?op=viewarticle&artid=199
Not perfect, but it's the first time I ever try anything like this.
I have since nearly finished the Zimmerit, but I wonder what you guys (and gals?) actually think about it before I paint it. Very honest answers are appreciated (and congratulated), I will not be offended.
Next time it is sunny (which may be Wednesday!), I will take more pictures. I am also on the edge of purchasing multiple Russian kits (Mainly PSC) off Emodels.com, so expect to see some Soviet models over the summer.
Thanks for reading,

Revell M7 Priest
I found this little surprise at my local Hobby Shop a couple of months ago and was surprised since this beauty is discontinued (Why is it that all 1/72 M7 kits get discontinued?). It was the only one there, and the only time I ever saw it. I will be getting two more this summer since it turns out a shop in Montreal has plenty, and my Doughboys need some mobile artillery support.
I don't understand why the box shows Brits using it, since they don't even supply a British crew!
Amazingly frustrating and time consuming for a little Matchbox kit, but definitely worth it.
Thanks for reading, up next are my PSC M4A1's, and a WIP on applying Zimmerit on an old refurbished Tiger II I built a couple years ago.

Revell 17cm Kannone 18 (And an update on personal affairs)
Finally, I'm in the mood to post!
It's been about a month since I last posted, and I am terribly sorry to those who were patiently waiting to see my take on the Revell Kannone 18.
Any ways, the reason I haven't been posting is not because I've laid off the brushes (quite the opposite actually). I've been renovating the house, and have either been too busy working, or the internet wasn't even available. Sorry I haven't commented on your work either.
Wednesday night in Soviet Ottawa, we had a good 25cm of wet heavy snow in about 8 hours. So no electricity, no internet and not TV, great! Besides taking a beautiful walk, and shovel snow for 2 hours, I couldn't do anything.
I've been painting my Stalingrad building, my Fallschirmjaeger, my Waffen SS, and my Soviets.
On to the Revell kit. It's the final part of the Revell "superkit". This gun is absolutely IMMENSE. Imagine comparing an old GI Joe cannon to 1/72 figures, and you'd get the idea!
Sorry for the blurry photos, I am still perfecting my photography skills.
It's no Gustav gun, but it is presently by far the biggest cannon (and model) I own.
Here it is with it's tow, the Revell Sd.Kfz 9 (with Revell's German Artillery wagon riders as crew)
Does anyone know were I could get a nice, affordable crew for this monster? Please leave suggestions in the comments.
Next up: Armourfast Crusader II
Thanks for reading!

Airfix Morris Quad & 25pdr
Good evening everyone.
I haven't been posting in a while, since I haven't really been feeling well, morally. It's been a depressing past few weeks, and I've been making some thinking and pondering. I've been rearranging some things, and changing parts of my life.
I am currently waiting to have my paycheck before I order some Italians, so I have been finishing my Airfix Italians, Revell Siberians, Revell DAK, and FJ's.
Anyway, here's some work back from November.
Crew are a mix of Airfix Ghurkas and original crew.
Easy conversions on the Ghurkas, as seen in this terribly blurry photo.
Up next: Revell/Matchbox Pz.II
Thanks for reading.

Revell Sd.Kfz. 9 FAMO
Good evening.
I hope you all had a wonderful Friday, and will have a wonderful start to your weekend.
Here is part of that huge Revell kit I bought after Christmas. Surprisingly, they even included the Earth Spade, wich means I got an exact reboxing of the following kit:
Since these photos, I've found instructions for the Earth Spade, and have finished it (as a removable piece). The riders are from the Revell German Artillery set.
A real beast of a vehicle. I could see why they would name it the Bull. A friend of mine mentioned that it looked lie a massive boat on tracks, and I completely agree with him.
Seems like the crewman on the left is bothering the figure to his left. Silly lad.
Although it's hard to see in this pathetic photo, the Sd.kfz 9 is almost twice the size of the 251.
A true powerhouse. It will obviously be used to tow my Morser that I got with it, wich is what I will be posting next.
Cheers! and Thanks for Reading!
